At GiveSecretly, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This policy outlines our refund and return procedures for our gift delivery services.

Digital Gift Cards

Before Delivery

If you need to cancel your order before the gift card has been delivered to the recipient:

  • Contact us immediately at hello@givesecretly.com
  • Full refund available if gift card has not been purchased or sent
  • Refund processed within 5-7 business days
  • Service fee is non-refundable if processing has begun

After Delivery

Once a digital gift card has been delivered to the recipient:

  • Refunds are generally not available as the gift card has been issued
  • If the gift card was not received, we will investigate and resend or refund
  • If there was an error in the gift card amount or type, we will correct it
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery for any issues

Physical Gifts

Before Shipment

  • Full refund available if order has not been shipped
  • Contact us at hello@givesecretly.com to cancel
  • Refund processed within 5-7 business days

After Shipment

  • Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery
  • Item must be unused and in original packaging
  • Contact us for return authorization
  • Refund issued once item is received and inspected
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable

Service Issues

If you experience any of the following issues, we will provide a full refund or replacement:

  • Wrong recipient: Gift sent to incorrect person
  • Wrong amount: Gift card value incorrect
  • Wrong type: Wrong gift card brand or product
  • Not delivered: Gift never received by recipient
  • Damaged: Physical gift arrived damaged
  • Invalid code: Gift card code doesn't work

Refund Process

How to Request a Refund

  2. Include your order number and reason for refund
  3. Provide any relevant details or documentation
  4. We will respond within 24 hours

Refund Timeline

  • Refund approved within 24-48 hours of request
  • Refund processed to original payment method
  • Allow 5-7 business days for refund to appear
  • Credit card refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Gift cards that have been redeemed or partially used
  • Service fees after processing has begun
  • Donations that have been completed
  • Orders where recipient information was provided incorrectly by customer

Chargebacks

If you have an issue with your order, please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your credit card company. We are committed to resolving all issues fairly and quickly.

Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in:

  • Account suspension
  • Inability to use our service in the future
  • Additional fees to cover chargeback costs

Exceptions

We reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis. If you have special circumstances, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
